Tai Chi & QiGong Class in the Gardens
July 9, August 13 and September 10 (weather permitting)

Join an optional Tai Chi & QiGong Class in the Gardens from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

Experience relaxing movements and breathing to connect mind, body and spirit
while gathering in the surrounding natural energies. The gentle forms provide relaxation,
toning & strengthening for muscles, improve balance and so much more.

Certified Instructor, Lyn Drathring of Daily Harmony Lifeways, will lead you through
the Yang Style 24 Form of Tai Chi, Qi Gong forms and a short meditation.
Bring a mat or something to sit on for the meditation, or a chair if you prefer chair movement options.
No prior experience is necessary & participants are encouraged to do only what is comfortable for them.
Alternative movements can be suggested for most qi gong movements, including chair options.

Yoga in the Gardens

Ease stress and tension, relax muscles, increase circulation, or just pamper yourself with a day in the beautiful gardens!

Instructor, Nancy May will not be teaching “Yoga in the Garden” this year due to a recent cancer diagnosis.

Dr. Nicole R. Parmelee RYT, certified yoga teacher will take her place. Nicole is qualified to work with students of all levels.

The death of a child creates a change in life's tapestry and requires piecing life together in a different way. This day retreat will provide you the opportunity to share your unique grief journey with others
through reflection, expressive arts and activities in nature. In a supportive grief environment, led by trained grief professionals you will gain insight into your grieving process and develop new coping skills.

Learn a prayer method based on the early Christian, contemplative tradition.

Deborah Marqui, LCSW and owner of Healing Gardens at Stone Hill Farm, will teach the workshop.
She is a commissioned presenter of Introduction to Centering Prayer. A two-time cancer survivor, Deborah attributes
her healing to the restorative power of nature and the simple prayer practice of Centering Prayer.

There will be optional follow up sessions that assist in strengthening the Centering Prayer practice.
